Review independence

Reviews are only useful if nobody can pay for them. This page says how the site is funded and what money can never buy.

Where the money comes from

Right now, nowhere. modsforClaude.com earns nothing: no ads, no affiliate links, no paid listings and no paid reviews. It is an unofficial community site, not affiliated with Anthropic.

That may change, because running the site takes time and money. If it does, this page is updated first, and every paid element on the site is labeled as such.

What money can never buy

  • A review status. Reviewed, Not yet reviewed and Rejected depend only on what we find in the code at the pinned commit.
  • A milder review. A Caution warning or a "Sends data to" label stays for as long as it is true.
  • A way around a rejection. Rejected mods are not listed anywhere, whoever asks.
  • A higher score or a better place in the listings. The popularity score comes from upvotes, saves, clicks on source links in the last 30 days and GitHub stars. Nothing else is part of it.
  • A different install link. Installs always go to the official Claude directory.

Partnerships

We are open to partnerships with people and companies who build for Claude Code. Every partnership follows the rules above: a partner's mods are reviewed like any other, and a partnership is never a reason to change a review. We turn down anyone who asks for that.

We do not sell sponsored listings. If we ever do, they will be clearly labeled, keep their own review status, and this page will explain how they work before the first one appears.

Reviews follow the code

Every review applies to one exact commit. When the code moves on, the listing says "New version, not yet reviewed" until we have looked again, whoever made the mod.
